Spring always seems to bring a burst of energy, and this one has been no exception. Between conferences, chapter programming, and ongoing opportunities to connect, it's been a great reminder of how strong and engaged our HR community really is.

A Look Back at the SHRM SD State Conference

In April, many of us had the opportunity to attend the SHRM SD State Conference, which was a truly meaningful experience. The sessions offered fresh ideas, practical takeaways, and, just as important, the chance to reconnect with peers from across the state. There's something reaffirming about being in a room full of HR professionals who "get it," and I know many of us returned energized and inspired to apply what we learned.

Between meetings, one easy way to stay connected is to listen to the SESHRM podcast. If you haven't tuned in yet, I encourage you to give it a listen. The episodes feature timely HR topics and local voices from our community, making it a great way to learn and stay engaged, whether you're on your commute, out for a walk, or just catching up between meetings.

Our Co‑Branding with SHRM

You'll also notice our new logo as SESHRM has co‑branded with SHRM, which we're proud of. This partnership allows us to stay closely aligned with national SHRM initiatives while still delivering programming that reflects the needs of HR professionals right here in our region. It's the best of both worlds: strong national resources paired with local relevance.
