In this session, Joe Brummel will uncover actionable strategies organizations can use to foster commercial benefits and boost employee financial resilience. You'll learn how to craft a more financially sound workplace through education, benefits, and purposeful communication.

Presenter Bio: Joe Brummel
Joe Brummel is the Managing Director for Strategic Retirement Partners, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He brings nearly three decades of experience—beginning in 1996—in guiding employers to build successful retirement programs and advance employee financial wellbeing.
A Carleton College economics graduate, Joe holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®) credentials. He’s been recognized nationally for his expertise, including being named among the “Top 300 Most Influential Defined Contribution Advisors in America” and a Financial Times “401 Top Retirement Plan Advisors” honoree.
His passion for financial education extends beyond consulting: he is a Founding Lecturer at The Retirement Advisor University™ (in partnership with UCLA Anderson) and serves as Adjunct Lecturer for The Plan Sponsor University™ in Minnesota. Joe is also the founder of Plan Sponsor Roundtable, an interactive forum that educates employers on retirement-plan oversight.
In 2022, after years in the Twin Cities, Joe relocated to Sioux Falls with his family. He saw an opportunity to help local organizations elevate financial wellness through fiduciary training programs and employee education—initiatives not yet widely available in the region.
Monthly chapter meetings and HR educational presentations are free for members and $30 for non-members.
