SESHRM Student Chapter Meeting: Panel Discussion

Join us virtually or in-person at the Southeast Technical College HUB for a HR panel event. Mary Jo Vance, Krysta Widman, and Julia Disburg will be presenting.

Mary Jo Vance, SHRM-SCP, graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a BS in Organizational Behavior and Management. She has served in the Human Resources field her whole career and has experience in Manufacturing, health care and consulting. She recently started a new position as the Area HR Manager at HDR inc.

Krysta Widman has all of her HR experience at Gage Brothers Concrete Products where she has been for 7 ½ years. She started as HR Coordinator, moved to HR Generalist, and has recently taken on the role of HR Manager. She has a BS in Business Management from the University of Sioux Falls. Krysta also serves on the Sioux Empire SHRM Board as the Certification Director.

Julia holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from USD, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and has earned both the SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. She spent 5 years in the financial industry and made the transition to the human resources field approx. 10 years ago (with the help of the SESHRM – Student Chapter!). Currently, she is the Director of Human Resources for Lincoln County.
